He needs to apologize to the young security guy who’s doing a fine job for the homeland security in Thailand. That old fossil needs to be retired and the court needs to give order for him to stay away from the airport, we don’t care he can walk, he doesn’t deserve the job. He’s dangerous and promoting bad example to Thai society. Shame on you.
The old boy should be given the job of the security man. See how he likes standing there day after day patting people down. Should be stripped of his position and made to apologize publicly to the security guy. What a useless old fossil.
He has been suspended from his position, for the moment. As an example, I wold hope he faces charges of assault and treated the same as anyone else, with a taste in the slammer to consider the harm he has done. His behaviour threatens the credibility of the entire security apparatus. And yes a public apology, together with payment of damages to the young guy who was doing his job admirably.
This old man has not been fired or suspended, he was transferred to another position. And I can bet that he’ll be back to his old position when the story dies down. To this group of people (high ranking officials and the riches), they want the utmost respect regardless of situation. That’s why he felt disrespected when the security guy wanted to pat him down. I’m sure most of the people of his rank agree this is disrespectful.
